Dear Family,
On monday the 10th of July we had visitors from Frankfurt regarding the Outreach Centers that we have in Croatia. In three of the branches we have them to help find young single adults to teach. It is kind of a game center in the church with ping pong and foose ball and other games. The missionaries and members invite them to come and then they invite them to be taught the gospel. We have had a number of baptisms because of this. On the 11th we received a new couple that will serve in Serbia. On the 12th we drove them to Serbia. That is I went and took President Majc with me. We had a meeting that afternoon and evening with Elder Wondra the new second counselor of the Area Presidency and local members and leaders and the missionaries serving in Serbia. The Nation of Serbia is making all religions re-register and apply to qualify for legal status in their country. In the end I feel that this will be a blessing to the church if we do it right. The next day 13 of July we came back to Zagreb Croatia with an Elder who was kicked out of the country 90 days ago for not registering in a timely manner. He had to leave the country of Croatia for 90 days. Now he is registered and no problem. Then I drove back to Ljubljana. On 15th of July Roylene and I drove to Zagreb for a Priesthood Mission Coordinating Counsel Meeting with Elder Wondra presiding and all three of the District Presidencies from all three countries. It was to start at 2pm and go for 3 1/2 hours. Well at 1:50 pm I received a call from Elder Wondra that he would be late by over 1 1/2 hours because he chose to drive and traffic was really bad. He then said start the meeting without me. So I taught for 2 1/2 hours before he arrived. I am glad that he had sent me an email listing some of the subjects he was going to cover. The Lord blessed me and time went fast. I involved the leaders present so they were a part of it. On sunday we stayed over for church in Zagreb. I am grateful to now witness the three hour block functioning like it does at home complete with all auxillaries and a priesthood opening execise. This is a first for this mission. Now if we can grow the other Branches and get things going. It is fun to see the progress. On the 18 July I had Assistants Planning at our house. It went all day because we prepared for Mission Council the next day and for the next round of Zone Conferences. We went to Youth Conference on the next day 20 of July. I was ask to be the opening speaker and to introduce the theme. It was fun as I got them to stand and sing Waddle le ah chee. I don't know how you spell it but George knows it well. He is the one that taught me. Today we made Roylene happy as JR and MaraDee and Roylene and I bought a BBQ for the Mission Home. You know how she likes that. It was great as JR set it up for me. What a blessing as I don't do that well. You kids know what I mean. Well that is the latest. We are still having baptisms every month and we have commits for August. So now we have to see if we can motivate the missionaries to take it to the next level. Heavenly Father is blessing this mission. Baptisms are double of what they were a year ago. We love each other and we love His work. Love to all of you. Be happy as the gospel is really true. Love Dad
