Dear Uros,
Congratulations on making the right decision. Keep firm on it so you will not change your mind. I know that you know it is right and I am proud of you for realizing that. Use the time to prepare. Keep having daily scripture study from the Book of Mormon and get into Preach My Gospel. Both of them will really help you. I love and appreciate you. You are a special young man with special things to do.

Dear President,
I thought about what you said and I decided that I will go on a mission soon. It will probably happen in the beginning of January. My bishop and I started yesterday with getting my papers ready. I also talked with my mom and brother yesterday and even though they do not like the idea too much, I know they will see the benefits later on. Thank you for everything and I wish you good luck with missionary work back at home!

Dear Uros,
Sorry that I did not reply earlier. I was in Serbia for a couple of days. My suggestion is for you to go on a mission and to do it soon. If you don't you will find all kinds of reasons or excuses not to go. You will be the one that misses out if you do not go. It is important in this life to sacrifice. Then the Lord can and will bless you. It is also important to go now so you do not get to old. Heavenly Father blesses us when we make sacrifices. Everything in your life will be better if you serve a mission and if you do it now instead of waiting. You will find that you will be a better employee. You will be a better student. You will be a better husband and father. Yes, you will be a better son and brother. You will be a better member of the church because of the increase in spiritual strength and knowledge. Why would anyone want to cancel or delay such blessings as this? The money that you have saved and the money you will earn is sufficient to go. The balance can be paid by the church or other members.
If you can not tell my counsel is to come home for a short time and get the papers filed while you work to prepare to go. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for who you are. The Lord has a work for you to do. And that is more than just going on a mission. But going on a mission will help you to better accomplish His purposes.
I love and respect you. Please let me know how you feel about this. Make it a real matter of prayer.

Dear President,
By the time I'm done with school for this year (end of August), I should have around $5.000 of my own money. I'm planning on working after that for about 3-4 months, but I don't think I'll make enough for a mission. I just got an email today from my mom and my brother. She is asking me to postpone the thought of a mission for at least until I come home this year, which probably means that she will try to convience me not to go. My brother also implied that it would be good if I finished school as fast as I can and return home. I really want to serve the Lord but on the other hand I don't want my family to think that I abandoned them because of the Church. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Do you have any suggestions?
I want you to know that you don't have to write me back right away. I understand that you are very busy and have a lot of other more important things that you need to do first.
Love you President!

Dear Uros,
While in Celje I told everyone hello for you. I did not say anything about your plans to serve a mission as I thought it was not proper for me to do that. That is up to you. Do you have any funds to help with your mission? Even clothing is a concern. How are you set in that regard?
Melita is engaged (it has been anounce) to Jose Estigarribia. He is from Paraguay, but his mothers family is from Croatia. He is a wonderful young man that is a return missionary. He was just made Elders Quorum President in Zagreb.
Please continue to encourage your mother to get baptized and not wait. She is a kind lady. She always shows kindness to Sister Weight and I when we are in Celje.
Thank you for the emails.

Dear President,
I know that being a mission president, especially in Europe is demanding and I want you to know that you are doing a wonderful job! I admire you for all your time, effort and love you share with everyone in Slovenia and other countries. I want you to know that no matter when I will go on a mission, I will come home to visit for at least a few weeks. When I left Slovenia, I bought a round-trip plane ticket. I'm going to come home some time between september and december. I knew that Melita got baptized a few weeks ago but I didn't know she was engaged. Who is she engaged to? I just came back from an interview with my bishop and I told him about my desire to serve a mission. Because I don't have enough money to pay for it, he told me to ask my home branch president if my branch could help me out with that. I emailed Goran Radic, because I don't know Mladen's address.
Well, I hope you have a great day and I will talk to you later!

Dear Uros,
Thank you for the email. It sure is great to hear from you. I don't have much time because I am on my way to Celje this morning. We will do some training with the Priesthood before church meetings. I am happy about your decision to serve a full time mission. I hope you come back here for a visit first as your mother wants you to baptise her. She is a good lady and she has been coming very regularly. You ask about Melita. I did not know that you knew her. She is engaged to be married in the temple one year from her baptism date. I have not met her yet, but all of the reports I get is she is wonderful. Keep up the good work and email me back about your mission papers and the plan you have to serve. Such as when you will go and if you are coming home first. Your mother will be unhappy if you don't. I will never forget meeting you on my first day here and seeing how wonderful you are. Keep on living the gospel and Heavenly Father will bless you more than you know. You are so important to the future of Slovenia and the church here. I must go.

President Weight!
How are you doing? I haven't seen you for more than 6 months now!
How is missionary work in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia?
I have a question about my friend, Melita, who got baptized on July 17th in Zagreb I think. She hasn't been responding to my emails since a day before she got baptized. I'm sure that you know more than I do about how she is, how is she progressing in the gospel.
I'm busy as usual. I love this school and campus. I'm happy that I'm here even though I've never been so busy in my life. :) At least the grades are good. There is one more thing I want you to know. Tomorrow after the church meetings, I will go to talk to my bishop about serving a full-time mission. Yes, many things have changed in my life since I came here. My desire to serve the Lord for two years came back. I really want to do it now.
Say hello to your wife for me and have a wonderful day!
Uros
