Dear Family,
I know that it seems to you that you don't hear often enought from us. But it seems to me like time goes by so fast that I am always writing to you. We did another 7 days on the road doing Zone Conferences in Slovenia, Croatia, and then in Serbia. All of these also means doing missionary interviews. I have had the privelage of saying the prayer on these interviews, so that can mean as many as 36 prayers for interviews in one day. The other interviews for the balance of the missionaries are spread over more days. But in Croatia I do all in one day and I have to start at 9 am and go until the evening and usually there are other member interviews to do also after the missionaries. It is a full days work. At the end of the Zone Conferences we presided at the Serbia District Conference. It was a good trip. We left on tuesday and returned the following monday. This week we have been home and doing catch up work. We have a sister finishing her mission and going home on tuesday and 5 new elders coming. Three are going to Serbia and two are going to Croatia. We just received an email that two more couples are finally coming to Croatia. One in December and one in February. We don't know more about them but that information will eventually come. We have the Assistants flying into Kosovo again to do one or two more baptisms of young men. It depends on the interview. The Lord is still blessing us. I keep feeling that more success will come if we do what is right. I keep praying that I will always get the promptings for what Heavenly Father wants me to do. I need to always be focussing on what He wants not my own agenda. I have a great testimony that Heavenly Father knows best. We just need to move forward with faith and follow His will. I have to preside at Slovene District Conference on 11 and 12 November. I had a final planning meeting with the District Presidency thursday evening. We finally have them agreeing to a schedule that is similar to what is done at Stake Conferences around the world. In the past they wanted to do all meetings on sunday, but many people would leave before the general session. I hope it works well. We love and appreciate all of you. Thank you for the letters. You all deserve great blessings because of who you are and what you are doing. Love Dad
