Sat 3/31/07 12:30 AM

Dear Family,
Well today is the begining of General Conference. It makes me wonder how many more General Conferences we will be blessed to have President Hinckley preside. He has been such an impact for good. What a blessing to learn and be taught by him. We don't receive the conference live in Ljubljana, but the saturday sessions are recorded and played on sunday at 10 am and 1pm. I have offered to pay for a satelite dish which only cost 300 Euro (about $400.) but no one acts on it to get it done. I guess they will have to wait until the chapel is completed. This week we have been home and it is a blessing to get caught up on things. You know I spend way too much time on this computer doing answers to church emails. I am amazed at how many I get that are related to the calling. I just don't get enough of them from family. Ha Ha. It will always seem that way no matter how many you send. We had Mission Counsel on wednesday so Roylene has been busy in the kitchen again. The Zone Leaders have to come in on tuesday for the wednesday meeting so I had them and the Assistants come for a short meeting on tuesday evening. I taught them that they should be leading in the mission with baptisms from their own area and that they need to quit doing exchanges and leaving their area without one of them working it. One Zone Leader should go to the other area and one should stay in the Zone Leaders area and work it with one of the other Elders. They have been abandoning their area too much. It is amazing that it takes me so long to discover this. About the time I get some of this down they will be telling me to leave. Today we also have a baptism of the young lady that we went on the first lesson with two weeks ago. She (Maja Karabis) was a referal from a Brother and Sister Bill Hensley in Brigham City. I wonder if Karen Dearing knows them by chance. She is so prepared because of who she is and because of the Hensleys example and teaching. What a great way to spend General Conference. Well I must move on to other things. Sure love and appreciate all of you. Laney how is the house hunting going? Or is that a sore subject? Andy how is the new job? You must be working extra hard these days. Pat how are you recovering from the accident? Are you ok? Mitch are you always putting in extra hours as well? Jay have you packed those bags yet? How is the rental? Did you get all of the problems resoved? Aaron how is Tiffany and how is her father doing? I keep thinking about him and what they are going through. It takes special people to deal with some of lifes challenges. Tell her that we think of her daily and that she and her family are in our prayers. Well all of those questions are living proof that I get emails now and then. Love all of you.
Dad
