Dear Laney, Andy, Pat, Mitch, Jay, and Aaron,
This is a letter from one of our senior couple sisters that is going to finish their mission soon. Thought you might like to read it. Love Dad



Looking Forward…
Wow! 2 ½ weeks left and we are released and off to see Paris! It doesn’t seem possible. I don’t know how we will be able to do all we have left to do, but I guess when the time is up, it’s up! Buh bye! We have very special visitors coming for our Sunday meetings for the next 2 Sundays (District Presidency, Elder and Sister Chabries, and Pres. and Sister Weight) and Lahorka will be staying here with us for a few days while she takes her exams. Who-ooo, Party Time!

Blessings Come in Bunches…
AND GUESS WHAT! She (Lahorka) will be baptized on Oct. 1st, Sunday after Church in the Sea. We are all so excited for her; we have been hoping and praying for this day and it happened right before our release. Believe me, this blessing along with Ema’s baptism completely and more than pays for all our work and time and prayers we have spent here. These girls are such jewels and will be a great support system for each other. They are so excited and anxious and eager to go to the Temple and do proxy baptisms and also to get their Patriarchal Blessings. The Church in Croatia will certainly be blessed with their talents and testimonies. That was the surprise you were promised in my last letter….

Zone Conference…

On Friday and Saturday we will be going to Zagreb for our last Zone Conference. Elder Wondra, our Area General Authority will be in charge of the Conference. There will be many feelings which have accumulated with all our experiences in the last 18 months. Beautiful and eternal friendships that will be eternal and memories not to be ever forgotten. I know it will be hard because I start to cry every time I think about leaving, but yet I am so excited too. I think that EH said that one of the things he will miss the most is the view of the Sea. Maybe we’ll have to have a big picture of our view of the sea from our balcony laminated and put out on our patio so we can see it every time we look out of our kitchen window at home.

I hope you have all responded to Robyn’s email if you can come to our Homecoming Lunch on Oct. 29th and how many will be attending. The Sacrament Mtg. is at 10:00AM and lunch will be about 1:30 after our block of meetings. We can hardly wait to see you. Robyn@hanks.org or 909-598-4330. Thanks!
