Dear Family,
Here is an update of the miracle of the Zagreb Chapel and pictures of the construction. It really is the Lord's hand that has this building under construction after so many gave so much personal effort to remove the barriers that held up construction. The attached email is from Elder Erich Kopischke's (First Counselor in the Area Presidency) brother Bernard Kopischke who is from Frankfurt and he is in the building department for Central Europe Area. As you can see the walls are coming up.

Dear President Weight,

I just have the feeling to write you a short Email on this issue.

On the 8 th of October, Diego and me were standing on that untouched construction site in Zagreb, offering a prayer to our Heavenly Farther asking for his help as we realized, that after much work and many efforts we had come to the point that we had pretty much done what we could. We were not discouraged, maybe a little impatient, because we would have loved to report to you "the machines are running"!

Anyway, we had both realized the "wind of change" on this matter, which had taken place weeks before, as we were able to accomplish, in spite of a real existing opposition, very important progress - step by step. We felt, having no doubt at all, that the Lord will help his people in Croatia. It was very special to us to find out that evening - as you reported to us in Ljubljana - that the members of your Mission had been united in Fasting and Praying. Now we knew, what had caused this change and progress.

Looking at the attached pictures, I had the strong feeling to write this mail, because we want to witness, that we have felt that support asked by faithful members. And the pictures are evidence for this.

We are pleased and humble enough to acknowledge that we are where we are at the moment, because of the many prayers that have been united and brought forth blessings and solutions. The problems that we have faced here in Zagreb were not caused by missing skills or efforts. It was and is a struggle between good and bad.

Thank you to you and your people !

Sincerely

Bernd Kopischke

Area Construction Manager
