Dear Family,
It has been another eventful week. We spent monday with two other couples that were being released. We had one of our few preparation days and visited some of the beautiful sites in Slovenia including Bled and Bohinj. We went up a gondola into the Alps and had beautiful views of the valley below. Then we sent the couples off on tuesday and had Assistants planning for the next six weeks and Zone Conferences. On wednesday we had Mission Council. And on thursday we received our new CES couple. There name is Lunt and they are from Sandy Utah. On friday we had planning with them and the Blatters regarding CES. Roylene cooked up a storm all week with all of the coming and going of couples and the planning meetings. Ferres came in that afternoon and we all went to dinner including the Hansens. On saturday we did the ground breaking for the new chapel in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We had the vice Major and a man from a local religious communities attend. I had all of the missionaries in Slovenia travel and attend. We invited neighbors and some of them did not come over but they looked across the fence with curiosity. It went very well. We now start a new chapter for the church in Slovenia. It will take about one year to build the church. I have to go to church now but I wanted to get this short report off. We will send pictures hopefully tomorrow as we get them from Elder JR Hansen. Lots of love to all of you. Dad
