Dear Family,
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. We saw the video that Mitch posted. It was good to see. Everyone looked so happy. But I guess they would. After all they were all eating. It is Christmas morning and we hope to talk to some of you today. We do however have four missionaries that Roylene invited to call their families from here so the internet will be busy I am sure. Friday the 15 Dec 06 we went to Celje and saw a short choir program that Elder and Sister Miles put together. It was great. They sang Beautiful Savior as the closing number. It brought back Springville High School Choir memories. It was the same version that we used to sing. Then I hurried back to Ljubljana for a meeting with the District Presidency. I am really trying to help them lead so when I go home the church will still function here like it should. They are slowly progressing. But it does not take much to witness real progress. On saturday they held a program celebrating 15 years of the church being in Slovenia. It was good and done by the members with only a couple of missionaries help. We sent missionaries home on 18 & 19 December. Then I had a planning session with the Assistants. On friday the 22 December we went to Maribor for an Open House at the church. Roylene helped Karen with refreshments. It seems that they are always feeding people. They are really great. Yesterday after church Roylene had all of the Missionaries in Ljubljana and Kranj come for Christmas dinner. We had a fresh turkey and it was really a good one. I saw three extra turkey drum sticks in a package and bought them to add to the mix. It was a good thing. We had no left overs. I guess that is a typical missionary meal though. No left overs. I am glad because that would be all that I get to eat if the missionaries did not eat it all. There is so much cooking going on that that would be all that I get. We love you and wish you happy holiday with the family.
Love Dad
