Dear Family,
We just finished another road trip to all three countries and doing all of the interviews of all 100 missionaries and Zone Conferences. Before the trip JR Hansen laid new carpet in my small office at our home. I made the mistake of lifting things on my own and really messed up my back. It has been about two weeks ( on monday it will be ) now and it is finally doing alot better. I actually had Roylene do alot of driving while I laid down in the back seat. It was interesting going through the boarder doing that. I got some strange looks. Of course we sometimes get those looks anyway. Our Zone Conferences included a holiday meal and every district did skits. The Assistants did a separate one also. Well the mission will never be the same after these skits. That is right I did one also. You guessed it. Herman the worm is now famous in this mission. I am sure there are pictures all over the world right now as a result of this. Of well. Might as well be known for something instead of being in obscurity. We have hit the number of 70 baptisms which is twice as many as last year. I think it is the most ever in this mission. There are some really strong members that will help grow the church for years to come in that group of 70. We hope to increase the number before December is over. Then we are teaching things that need to happen to double baptisms again next year. Members will really be the key to that. That includeds the Priesthood Leaders and their faith and leadership. It will make a huge difference as we do this. Also we hope to get the buildings going. This will also leave a lasting effect.
I hear that alot of you are ill or have been. We pray for each of you every day and wish you well. We love all of you and appreciate who you are and the prayers that you offer in behalf of this mission. Thank you for your faith also. Love Dad
