It is good to hear from you. I just arrived back from a quick trip to Serbia. The country has made a new law and we must jump through their process of reregistering the church to be legal there. It is amazing the challenges that come up, but I am confident if we are obedient we will be better off and the church will grow because of it.
The land for the church in Slovenia was finalized complete with payment this week. It should be registered in the church's name soon. We are hoping to start construction in Sept. That is if something else does not delay it. It will be a real blessing to the church here. I have not heard about the Zagreb chapel for sometime. I may have pushed to hard so the staff in Frankfurt is not talking to me. I must repent of that.
The missionaries are doing great. We have the best there is. Our baptisms are double of what they were last year. We are trying to sustain that pace and even increase it. We had 239 baptisms done in the temple from the result of the Family History Center we opened in Ljubljana. The Branch President and his wife from Celje were sealed and so was the first counselor in Ljubljana Branch. We have a number of engagements of young single adults. So the future looks good for growth with temple marriages and families.
What a blessing it is to be here at this time and to work hard and see results. We love the mission and the people we are called to serve. Thank you for your influence for good to this mission. Your influence is felt in so many ways. May the Lord continue to bless you. I know he will. Keep in touch from time to time.
Love President and Sister Weight

Dear President Weight,
How is the mission doing? It's been some time since I've heard. I did hear about the changes in the District Presidency in Slovenia. That's pretty exciting. How is the progress on the chapel in Ljubljana? How are the missionaries?
I've sure enjoyed working with Elders Rubisch and Morris and then Elder and Sister Howlett. Right now I am working with the three Slovene missionaries that will be coming out in September. They sure are a bright group. We've set high SYL goals and we're sticking to them so that SYL won't be an adjustment when they get to the field. Please keep me posted on any particular focus the mission is taking so that we can begin to emphasize it already in the MTC.
Thank you President and Sister Weight. Abby and I love you.
Love,
Ryan and Abby Kacher
