Dear Family,
Well another week has gone by. We were not so stressed with schedule this week. We did have a short trip on tuesday with the Hansens to Varazdin. Some of you received the pictures of the storks on their nests atop of poles. We had alot of time in the office which was good so I could prepare for this week and AP planning meeting and mission council meeting. I met with the new Slovenia District President and his first councilor on friday night. I did some training and gave them all kinds of materials to follow up on. On saturday the Ljubljana Branche held a picnic BBQ. I was a little late as I had to call the first and second counselor for the new branch presidency. Many came to the BBQ and it was a success. They even had a horse there for all who wanted to have a short ride. It belonged to a non member friend of a member. We left the BBQ and took two missionaries and two investigators to a fireside in Celje. Sister Ashton and Sister Rodabough also came with a member and did a display on Family History. At the end the Branch President ask me to speak after a hour of others speaking. So I just summarized what they talked about and gave a personal experience and bore testimony. Sunday was great with the change in Branch Presidency. I think just having a change will be a blessing to the work. It will give others a chance to serve and grow. I must go as a senior couple is here. They are ready for a late breakfast. It is the Houcks and they go home tomorrow. Love all of you alot. Love Dad
