Dear President and Sister Weight:
We returned to Vienna with the wonderful feeling, that the Lord was with us in all the preparations and proceedings of the district conference, and that He confirmed the decisions which have been made, which opened a new chapter of growth for the Slovenia district and Ljubljana branch.
President Lotric has prepared several wonderful families who are serving now in the district and branch presidency. What they need is a massive training by the mission presidency, as the branch presidencies by the district presidency.
I had such a good feeling when meeting with the missionaries, and the letters from missionaries, which you gave us, confirm to us, that there is increasing faith and expectations, faith, that the Lord will perform miracles in this mission. I thank you for your great example of faith and optimism and for your expression of love for the members generally and individually.
When the district presidency will focus on the prophetic priorities, to increase the testimony of Jesus Christ and to strengthen families, and when they serve to make the members happier, in teaching them how to love and how to reach out to those in need, to love as Christ has loved us, this district will grow, and grow, and grow….
Thank you so much for the great work you are doing.
Sister Wondra and I thank you for this wonderful evening with the Lotric family. It has shown to us, that you will have always a wonderful friendship with the Lotrics and will appreciate him as the great pioneer in Slovenia. It must have been a great satisfaction and joy that the Lord has granted his desire and the two persons he suggested were called as the new district president and branch president in Ljubljana.
Thank you also for your invitation on Sunday evening, for this delicious dinner and the interesting conversation.
May you always have the confirmation that the Lord is pleased with your performance. What greater joy and satisfaction can we have in His service than this?
