Dear Family,
Well it has been awhile since you heard from me. Gave you a break, but now you have no choice unless you want to deleate this. We are sorry to hear about Chris and Karen's challenges. All we can do is work hard and pray with faith. It is in the Lord's hands. I have so many good memories of them both. We wish them well. Last tuesday I had another visitor. He was Brother Georg Fried-Brosz from Germany. We looked at possible places to move the mission office to. I gave him my choice so it is now up to the Missionary Department and there are holidays ahead so who knows what will happen. On wednesday I toured Slovenia to interview all 24 missionaries in this country. That night while I was finishing up Roylene had some young women and mothers to our house to decorate their own ginger bread house. They had a great time she tells me. Then on thursday ( Thanksgiving ) we had a zone conference for Slovenia missionaries and then we went to a prearranged resturant and ate Thanksgiving dinner. It was great. The Hansen's and Ferre's were there. We had the Ferre's stay over with us on wednesday, but we did not get to visit too much. We had JR take a picture of us and he hopes to send it when he gets his computer fixed. Then Hansen's and Weight's drove to Zagreb. I did more interviews. On friday we held zone conference for the Zagreb Zone and the West Zone. Then we had our Thanksgiving dinner with them. The next morning JR took picturers of Kresemer Cosic's grave for an article in the Church News. We are trying to be the feature story of the cover page. Then we left for Osijek, Croatia. I interviewed the missionaries there and a man for the Melchizedek Priesthood. The missionaries fed us a late lunch as we arrived late. The next day we were the sacrament meeting. The branch president is an american ( senior couple Elder ). Church was great Elder and Sister Hansen spoke and bore testimonies so I did not have to speak as long. I bet the members were greatfull. We then drove home in a rainstorm. It takes about 5 hours if the border does not hold you up too long. They were good to us as it only took 20 minutes in line this time. Slovenia had a big snow storm while we were gone. And it snowed some more during the night. I got to shovel alittle. Today I talked with Elder Hafen. They are adding Serbia to our mission, so I have to meet him with some other Bretheren there. I want to waite until Aaron goes back home but I am not sure if they will waite that long. It has three small branches and a District President without counselors. I have not heard more. It will add about 50 percent to my current work load, but I have changed how things were done here so I should be ok. I will keep you posted. Well this turned out to be quite an Epistle. We love you and pray for you every day. Keep blessing us with your faithfulness and your prayers. Love Dad
