Yesterday we had our baptism in a lake about two hours north and west of Ljubljana. It was raining hard as we drove but stopped for the baptism and then started to rain again. It is a beautiful setting for a baptism. Two Elders and one of their investigators rode with us in our car. This man is from Bulgaria and he has been investigating the church for a long time. He is one of the people that we met on the 5th of July at the american embassy. While we were in the car going to the baptism for a 30 year old young lady, I committed this man to find someone else for the missionaries to teach. He said can I do that since I am not a member? I told him that I knew he knew the church was true and that I wanted him to start praying for Heavenly Father to lead him to someone for the missionaries to teach. He accepted and was really excited about it. After the baptism I did the same with Dragica who was baptized. She said that the lady who was at the baptism that I did not know was her freind and she was preparing her to be taught. I said that is good but I want you to start praying tonight for Heavenly Father to send someone to you that you don't know to be taught. She said can I do that? I told her yes. She was very excited and accepted the challenge. I also followed up with another young sister that was there who I commited at Youth Conference to find someone. She told me she has a friend that she grew up with that will be ready in about two weeks to be taught. I told the Elders in her area at church today. Also at church I followe up with three other members that the missionaries have challenged to find someone for them to teach. Life is good and the people are accepting commitments. All we have to do is keep teaching them loving them and following up with them. Love all of you, Mitch, Kira, Todd thank you for your letters. Rick and Laney thank you for the letters and pictures Love Doug
