Please pass this on to Laney and Jay and Aaron. Mike and Karen were on local TV in Maribor with a set of Elders. They were on for 50 minutes. I am told that it was excellent complete with a prayer, teaching the restoration and Joseph Smith. the Book of Mormon, and about Christ. Also temples, and a living prophet. Then conclusion with testimonies. I have ask for a DVD. The work goes forth. Love Dad

We took Elders Wright and Wigley to the local TV station tonight. They did great!
They tried to get a hold of Mihaela, but she didn't answer her phone so she wasn't able to go with us. They had Elder Ferre and I answer some questions. If we had known we would be a part of this I don't think we would have gone. They said they would do a DVD for us. Just thought I'd let you know. ALso, thank you for the recipes, I really appreciate your help. I still have 2 more sets to send, hope that is OK.

Mrs Renata said she would call me if they can arrange for another presentation in a few weeks at the weekend, otherwise you are on your own again! It is fantastic. I wonder where I could get hold of other local TVs, like in Celje region. I heard from Pika today we are coming with the Joseph Smith performance to Celje first Saturday in February. We need to promote the event. I am meeting Pika Kompan on Sunday, to discuss. We want to do it in Maribor, but church is too small. Maybe when you move in the new place, we can have it as part of the open house! That would be great. Do you have an idea when you are moving yet?



Just send the recipes, I will do what I can.

Tonight a journalist from local TV station (covering area between Ormo¾ and Radlje ob Dravi) rang to ask if it could be arranged for someone to talk about our Church tomorrow night for their programme where they are introducing various religions to their viewers.



I think this is a great opportunity for our Church to come out of obscurity in this northern region, so perhaps missionaries and Mihaela (I have talked to missionaries already) could make a presentation of our values tomorrow at 20.00 hours at their studio. The lady said she would send me by e-mail her details. Please ask her to record whatever she will show on TV, so I can have it for the record. I need all material for presentation next November about our public affairs activities in Slovenia). If necessary, offer to provide the video cassette. I know this is Lord’s work and I am grateful for all you will do tomorrow.
