Dear Family,
Last friday Roylene and I went to Zagreb. We had dinner with the Houcks our CES couple. We ate at their apartment. Then we drove to Karlovac to see the Elders and check out an apartment for a senior couple that is coming. On Saturday I did interviews of the missionaries. And then interviews and meetings with the District Presidency as we were changing Branch Presidency in Zagreb on Sunday. All went well. During my missionary interviews I ask a Sister missionary to tell her investigator that has a baptismal date that I wanted to see her at the end of Sacrament Meeting. This was to make sure that the investigator came to church as she lives aways out of the city. Her name is Nikolina Lipovec. She is the one that was miraculously found on the tram by Sister Chabries a senior couple sister. Anyway we met and had Sister Chabries give an opening prayer. After some discussion I was prompted to ask her
( Nikolina ) if I could give her a priesthood blessing. She said yes. Then she ask if she should kneel. I then instructed her about the blessing and the way they are given.
After the blessing she paused on her chair and then she stood up and said " I feel different" Then she asked if she could hug me at the same time she was throwing her arms around me. I then taught her about the Holy Ghost and explained that that is what she was feeling. I also explained to her that after her baptism if she would continue to keep the commandments that she would have that feeling more often. It was a great experience. We have been doing office work since coming back to Ljubljana. We go back to Zagreb on thursday for another zone conference and more missionary interviews. We are still having trouble getting visa's for Slovenia. I think that someone in Salt Lake does not followup. It drives me crazy, but I have to be careful or I will loose the spirit. Have a great week. Ours is always great. Just some of them are better than others. We love you. Thanks for the pictures Pat and Jay.
Love Dad
