Dear Family,
Well another week has gone by. After talking to some of you on the internet phone it sounds like you have more to tell than I do. Trips to Disneyland, San Diego and Hawaii, I don't know. You all must be blessed. We left last Saturday for Zagreb where we picked up the District President Elder Chabries his wife and his first counselor President Estigarribia and his wife. We then drove to Zadar for a branch conference. Prior to the conference interviews were held on Saturday night as the branch president was to be changed on Sunday. The senior couple Crittendens go home 15 May. We do not have a replacement for them. They put in Elder Valletta a missionary. He is a very sober young man and will do an excellent job. I also have him scheduled to train a new missionary starting on the 3 May. Right now he is in a three some with two other Elders. They have really stepped it up since he arrived. They are working harder than any other missionaries in street contacting. Elder Ballard tells us to get the missionaries to contact ten people each everyday independent of teaching or tracting. They did it. If all of the missionaries will do this baptisms will double. We are getting better as a mission. We are on the path to do double what was done last year in convert baptisms. The key indicators are increasing, so are the actual baptisms. We have the best most teachable and obedient missionaries in the world. The small outreach centers are starting to find more people to teach as well as give the youth activities to rekindle their own activity. Roylene is cooking right now in preparation for the next two weeks. We have been home all of this week after returning on monday from Zageb. Also, I met with a church attorney as he was on his way to Kosovo to check things out there. I hope that the Area Presidency will clear the way for us to start baptizing and send a senior couple in there. It is ready and we will loose opportunities if we do not act now. Of course that is only my humble opinion. If the Lord wants it otherwise it will be so. It is always His will that we need to align ourselves with. Then things always work out right. We are taking an investigator out to dinner tonight with some of the Elders. Then Roylene is feeding other missionaries on sunday after church. She is finally feeling better and she can breathe again. It seems to me that she has had more colds since we have been here than ever before. She is always amazing me. She is so effective in blessing the lives of others. I am blessed to be with her. Well have a wonderful week. I know that we will. Give us the details of all your spring break activities. Love Dad
