Dear Family
Well we had another good zone conference. The spirit was stroger than we have felt it before in Zagreb. It is good to see positive things starting to happen there. We have a number of missionaries that will go home on next transfer and they are cutting back in numbers alittle. We will loose a set of sisters in Slovenia, but they will be replaced with two elders. We will loose two sets of elders in Croatia. I don't fully understand the complement of missionaries that they allow us. In some cases we get more in other we loose. Overall we are really blessed. I know it is a miricle that we get the couples that we do. We have a set of senior sisters coming in November. I needed them because a couple will not be coming because they have discovered that she has cancer. Last night after zone conference I had a meeting with the Croatia District Presidency. It turned out good. But the real proof will be if they act on a couple of things. It is like reading and living the Book of Mormon here. The church was established but before our arrival there was alot of apostacy. I told the District Presidency that we have to reestablish the church. I also told them that I knew that we would have to account to Kresimir Cosic after we die on what we did in this country that he loves so much. I don't want to face him or Joseph Smith or the Savior and be imbaressed. We then drove home in the dark in a big rain storm. We arrived at about midnight. Boy the drivers of cars over here are really scary. They don't slow down even in a huge storm. We get to go to Varazdin tomorrow for a baptism. It was set for last week but she had to work. Elder Hansen will be driving us in the large van that we call the box. It is called that because of its shape. We sure do enjoy this mission, but it can really wear you out at times. This month is really scheduled. We have a District Conference next week and a couples conference and a mission tour with Elder Bruce Hafen and General Women Presidencies coming from Salt Lake to train the primary and young women and relief society. On top of that will be releasing and receiving a large group of missionaries which means prayfully doing transfers again. No rest for the wicked and the righteous don't need it. Now all I have to do is figure which group I belong in.
Lots of LOVE Dad
